What to do with your Buckskin? Once you have gone through the process of tanning deer hide and have some buckskin what to make with it becomes the next question. The material is so precious from all the work and effort that it sometimes feels impossible to commit to cutting it and making it into something. It is a daunting prospect. Its not just a few bucks if you get it wrong. It's serious work.
This is a simple pair of center seam moccasins i made up.

I will get on the water in June!!!! I' m pushing to make it happen. Lots of finishing to go!! but the end feels like its in sight! Who is paddling already! running the late spring high water :-) I will get there!!
