We took the single ensuite and turned it into two separate bathrooms by moving a few walls and slightly shrinking the master bedroom. In the new ensuite we used large format 24×48 tile from  to reduce grout lines and to give the bathroom a bigger feel. The black trim around the tile and shower glass match the vanity hardware and towel warmer to give a uniform look that makes the lighter colours pop a bit more.

The outside of this Squamish carriage house has bold contemporary roof lines. We used the same soffit material for the living room ceiling as we did under the roof and accent around the front door area. The siding is a hardy panel that gives it a modern look. This photo was before we painted a darker charcoal colour to contrast the wood and to match fairly closely to the black windows.

We tiled the entire main wall in the bathroom of this Lions Bay home and as well as wrapping the shower. In the shower, we installed a niche and used the same pebble mosaic tile that we used in the wet bar to add character. Black fixtures and hardware was used throughout the project.
