Genesis Residency surrounds founders building venture-scale companies with people who've done it before.

That group is the Genesis Founders' Council, the founders and investors behind some of Newfoundland & Labrador's best-known tech companies.

Residency is our highest-tier founder program and the most concentrated support we offer. The Council has been where these teams are now, and brings experience and accountability to the work. What they've built shows how far a company can go from here.

Genesis and Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) are hiring a Venture Manager.

This is CDL's person on the ground in Newfoundland & Labrador: a one-year maternity leave replacement based at Genesis in St. John's, supporting the CDL-Atlantic team out of Dalhousie.

CDL connects science-based startups with a network of accomplished founders and investors through a nine-month, milestone-based mentoring program. As Venture Manager, you'll:

• Recruit strong ventures for the Prime and Oceans streams
• Guide ventures through the program and back them with business development support
• Expand and deepen CDL's relationships across the province

You bring a business or related degree (or equivalent experience), a solid grasp of business models and financial modeling, and some background with startups, tech, or venture capital. STEM experience is a plus.
