Elliot – Handsome 17yo Thoroughbred Gelding

Elliot is a lovely 15HH Thoroughbred gelding looking for his own person! He is a fantastic trail horse who is back in consistent work and ready for his next chapter.

The Details:
• Age: 17
• Breed: Thoroughbred (Gelding)
• Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, deworming, and farrier. (Note: Due for a dental float this fall).
• Soundness: Sound walk, trot, canter, and has a cute little jump!

Experience & Riding Style:
Elliot spent time as a commercial trail horse before taking a couple of years off to companion an old broodmare. Since last summer, he has been back in regular work with us doing trail rides and flat work in our outdoor ring, where he has been great. Because we haven't ridden him inside, we aren't sure how he’d do in an indoor arena, but he is a rockstar outside.

Ideal Rider:
Elliot is a great horse, but he is "more go than whoa." Because our program caters to a lot of first-time and beginner riders, he just isn't the right fit for our daily trail rides. He requires an intermediate rider or above who enjoys a forward, fun horse.
