Lakewood of Strathmore, the Strathmore Stampede and Global Fest YYC have entered into a partnership to host a series of five fireworks events throughout the year.

This will be the first of a multi year campaign to feature a series of shows at the Agricultural Society grounds annually. The goal is to continue hosting five, if not going up to as many as six shows per year.

The Lakewood of Strathmore development has its first show home set to open this weekend. This is the first of four show homes proposed for the community. Experts see this as another win for the Strathmore and Wheatland County real-estate sector.

There is an open house for the De Havilland Field Project, Tonight From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strathmore & District Ag Society 33 Wheatland Trail, Strathmore. The event is for people to learn more about De Havilland Field, ask questions and provide feedback.
