The Eastern Canada Trip’s sixth day was a big travel day as we ventured all the way from Montréal to Toronto. We stopped in Kingston on the way for lunch at and a tour of the Penitentiary with some amazing guides! When we reached Toronto, we went for a quick cruise of the harbour to watch the sunset before checking into our dorms for our last two nights of the trip!
Tomorrow is Niagara Falls and the Jays game!

Day 5 of the 2026 Eastern Canada Trip was Québec City day! We toured the Citadelle (an active military base, home of Batisse, the Royal Goat, and second home of the Governor General) and then spent the after exploring the old city and looking for the best, authentic French meal we could find. We made the most of a warm day with a gelato treat before boarding the busses. On our way back to Montréal, we stopped in Drummondville for poutine. Tonight, we are packing our bags and getting ready to head to Toronto tomorrow with a stop in Kingston on the way.

Day 4 of the Eastern Canada Trip was a full day in Montréal! Started the day touring the port and Old Montréal, learning about its history and importance. After a yummy lunch in Old Montréal, we were off to the Biodôme to watch the penguins perform, the otters play, and Mr.Janzen sweating in the rainforest to show everyone the sloth(s). Then it was back downtown to watch Aura, the light show in Notre Dame Basilica, before some more time for students to explore Old Montréal on their own.
Tomorrow is the big day trip to Québec City so an earlier bedtime for us tonight.

For the first time, the Eastern Canada Trip kicked off in Ottawa. We had a great day checking out the Museum of History, walking from Quebec to Ontario, visiting Parliament Hill, reflecting at the National War Memorial, and enjoying a delicious supper in ByWard Market! It’s been a long day but a good one! Now it’s time for some sleep so we can have some more adventures in this beautiful city tomorrow!
