On this project we installed spray foam to the basement gravel floor before the concrete was poured to not only make the basement warmer but also prevent radon gas from coming into the house which is a leading cause of cancer in Canada today. We also spray foamed the garage ceiling to make the living space floor above warmer and keep out any gases from the cars that will eventually be parked in that garage.

One of our spray foam installers making it look easy. After the spray foam was installed, we applied an intumescent paint (DC-315) for a thermal barrier, to meet building code. The customer was leaving their utility room unfinished, and did not want to install framing and drywall. This customer also received money back as part of the Home Energy Rebate (HER+) program.
