For the cat lovers! This pen is turned from purple heart which has been polished to a high sheen and hi-lighted by 24k gold (plated) hardware. Part of this exercise for us is fund raising for the animal rescue folks so to that end 10% of the price will be donated; probably not a big amount but these days every nickel counts!! Tell us what you think.

This is the rest of the crochet hook package. The handle is polished purple heart and also can be used as hook storage if you wish; just gently twist hook out, reverse it and gently twist it back in!! Other types of wood are available. Why this page and why now?
This is my antidote to all the wackiness and foolishness currently going on everywhere around the world!! In a sense, I can control the amount of info coming at me.
Right after the election in the USA, I decided enough is enough so I retreated to my work shop (long unused), dusted off and adjusted some of my equipment and started turning some Christmas presents including measuring spoons, pens, crochet kits etc.
I was pleasantly surprised at the reaction to my work so the boss and I decided to 'take the show on the road'; so here we are.
I promised the boss to keep my posts short (not sure why she was so adamant about this so....)!!
