Midnight towing

A couple of posts ago, we talked about how the towing and recovery community works together to better serve our customers. This past week gave us a few great examples of exactly that.

Late last week, I headed to Cambridge Narrows, NB, to pick up the fishing barge we had delivered over in April. On the way home, Nick from Nick’s Towing called looking for help with a damaged vehicle at a residence. We were flat out, so I suggested he call Rick. Rick stepped up, picked up the vehicle, and brought it back to Midnight Towing’s compound where Nick was able to pick it up later that evening.

Fast forward to today. Craig from CAPS Towing called about one of his customers who was stranded in Fredericton and trying to get back to PEI. Craig had his hands full, so Midnight Towing headed out and got the job done.

Then later in the day, one of our longtime customers called needing assistance in Western PEI. Since we were tied up, I called Craig, and CAPS Towing took care of the customer right away.

This is how the industry should work. We may all have different names on the doors of our trucks, but at the end of the day we’re all working toward the same goal—helping people when they need it most.

Working together benefits every one of our businesses, but more importantly, it gives our customers peace of mind knowing that when they call, someone is going to answer and someone is going to help.
