Have someone visiting this summer? Bring them downtown ✨

Downtown Summerside is an easy place to spend a relaxed afternoon (or evening!) with an out-of-town guest - no packed itinerary needed.

☕ Start with iced tea at Samuel's Coffee House
📚 Browse the shelves at Daisy-Mae Bookshop
🧶 Stop into Red Island Knits Craft Café for yarn, baked goods, and coffee
🌊 Take a seaside walk along The Boardwalk
🛍️ Wander Spinnakers' Landing for local gems, homemade fudge, and seafood by the water
🍦 End with homemade ice cream at Holman's Ice Cream Parlour
🚗 Or, if they’re visiting on a Friday, make an evening of it with Downtown Summerside Classic Car Nights

It’s a simple way to show off Downtown Summerside while supporting the local businesses, events, and waterfront spaces that help make it feel so welcoming.

Behind every downtown storefront, there are people putting their heart into what they do.

From shop owners and makers to chefs, servers, stylists, artists, and staff, Downtown Summerside is shaped by the people who show up every day to make this community feel welcoming, creative, and full of life.

And supporting them does not always have to mean making a big purchase.

A few small ways to show your support:

✨ Like or share their posts online
✨ Leave a kind review after a great experience
✨ Recommend them to a friend
✨ Offer constructive feedback
✨ Choose local when you can
✨ Cheer them on when they try something new
✨ Or even just stop in and say hello

Small actions can make a big difference for the people behind the storefronts. 🤍
