MAN FACING CHARGES RELATED TO DANGEROUS DRIVING, FLIGHT FROM POLICE

📂 2026-788952

On the evening of Monday, June 8, police in Prince County, including Summerside Police, RCMP and Kensington Police, received a total of eight (8) driving complaints in connection with a black Dodge Charger, with tinted windows, driving dangerously at high speeds in Springfield, Victoria West, Sherbrooke, New Annan, Kensington, and Summerside.

In one of these cases, Summerside Police located the vehicle and identified the driver before the vehicle fled from police. The driver was later located by Prince District RCMP, arrested, and turned over to Summerside Police.

A twenty-nine year-old Palmer Road man is facing charges related to Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police for incidents in Summerside and Kensington.

“Flight from police puts everyone in danger. If you see driving behaviour that puts all motorists at risk, call 911, your information helps keep everyone safer,” said Summerside Deputy Chief Dale Corish.

Anyone with any information related to these incidents is asked to contact their local police agency or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477).
