A wonderful night for Summerside's Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting by Santa Claus! A very big thank-you to organizers, Summerside Fire Department, CITY DEPARTMENTS & STAFF, ALL SPONSORS, ALL FLOAT ENTRIES, BANDS, GROUPS, AND VOLUNTEERS with many RESIDENTS & FRIENDS along Parade Route! Without ALL of YOU it would not be possible to bring smiles and excitement to people all ages, families and children and have the entire community spirit!! Fantastic TEAM WORK!! 🎄☃️🎇🤶✨️🎅🌟🇨🇦

~An excellent turn-out of people of all ages, beautiful garden decorations and lights, a welcoming atmosphere inside and outside in the gardens, special musical guest entertainment, great staff serving up wonderful complimentary ice cream treats for tonight's opening event. A very big thank-you to the Meister Family for their creative seasonal themed business initiative. As well, working in partnership with Explore Summerside and with
incredible sponsors including Consolidated Credit Union, Arsenault Bros Construction, PEI Mutual, Standard Aero, Co-Operators Insurance, Summerside Microtel and Malpeque Iron Works whose generosity has made this seasonal initiative possible in lighting up the downtown historic core, and a community building support effort with with our friends of Community Connections helping out and attending this enjoyable event as a 'must do' with family, co-workers, and friends throughout December!
