Lets begin from the beginning. Hair have three phases, which they pass from: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. Treatment in the correct phase is essential, otherwise, the treatment is either found to be taking too long, or somewhat ineffective. Your electrologist should discuss these phases with you as per your hair growth. Attached is a picture. Just see the hair movement.
