JULY MARKET STATS ARE OUT!
Sluggish seasonally-adjusted sales and a continued rise in inventory has the Fraser Valley market slowly shifting to favour buyers.
Here’s a little breakdown:
- July sales were down 26% from the 10 year average
- There were 41% more homes listed than the previous year
- The benchmark price for a single-family detached home was $999,100

The policy rate cut of 25 basis points by the Bank of Canada on June 5 was not enough to rally home sales in the Fraser Valley last month.
Here’s a little breakdown:
- June sales were down 30% from the same month a year before.
- There were 41% more homes listed than the previous year.
- The benchmark price for a single-family detached home was $1,515,526
