I’m sure you’ve seen at least one trainer post something like “this workout is so good it’ll make you 🤢” and somehow that became the standard??
But honestly… since when did feeling like you’re about to throw up become the goal?
I’m all for working hard. You should leave your workouts feeling challenged. But there’s a big difference between pushing yourself and just running yourself into the ground for no real reason. If every workout leaves you dizzy, nauseous, and completely wiped, that’s not some gold standard… it’s usually a sign you went past what’s actually productive.
The workouts that actually get results aren’t the ones that destroy you. They’re the ones you can show up for consistently, where you’re getting stronger, moving better, and actually recovering so your body can adapt.
You don’t need to feel sick for a workout to “count.” You just need it to be done with intention.
I’d take that over feeling 🤢 any day.

This is something I’ve been personally training and correcting for myself and want to bring awareness to
A lot of people are focused on hitting their steps right now…
but no one’s talking about how you’re actually walking.
You can hit 10k steps a day, but if your movement is off, you’re just reinforcing bad patterns over and over again
Most people don’t even realize they walk like this.
Feet turning outward (aka “duck feet”) isn’t just a harmless habit, it’s usually a sign of poor hip control, weak glutes, or tight muscles pulling you out of alignment which are the exact things we’d work on together to correct it
Over time, if untreated, this can lead to:
• Knee pain
• Hip discomfort
• Lower back issues
& just forcing your feet straight isn’t the fix.
You need to actually build the strength and control to support better movement.
Awareness is step one and correction is step two
