This home is beautiful, it just needed a clearer conversation between the rooms. The layout of the living spaces were disjointed, the circulation was a bit broken, and nothing flowed the way the homeowners wanted it to. So I reorganized the plan, opened the connections, and gave the spaces a purpose again. Lots of talking, lots of questions, then we draw.

I appreciate how this window detail serves a functional and an aesthetic purpose. First the obvious of providing ventilation and fresh air into three of the rooms. The second is more visual as it provides visual relief on the exterior of the home (the rear elevation). The office (the room I am in) already has other larger operable windows so perhaps the third set of windows in the room was entirely aesthetic?
