⛔️ Nazar is Real 💔 (June 2025)

When I first came to Canada, I worked hard—really hard. Every hour, every shift, every small saving had a purpose. Finally, I bought my first car with my own hard-earned money. For a middle-class boy like me, that was a dream come true.

It wasn’t just a car to me; it felt like my child. I used to look at it with pride, take pictures, and share them online. I wanted the world to see what hard work can do. I didn’t realize then how dangerous it can be to show everything to everyone.

As Muslims, we’re taught that Nazar (evil eye) is real. But I didn’t take it seriously—until life showed me the truth in the hardest way.

One normal day, everything changed. Out of nowhere, I got into a terrible accident. My car was completely destroyed. I was left in pain, both physically and emotionally. I still remember the moment—I wasn’t crying for myself; I was crying for my car. The same car that once made me proud was now crushed in front of me.

That accident changed me. The pain, the trauma, the sleepless nights—it all made me realize how fragile life really is. I could have lost everything that day. But Allah saved me. He gave me a second chance, a reminder to be humble and private about my blessings.

Now, I don’t show off my happiness like before. I keep things between me and Allah. Because not everyone who sees your success is happy for you.

Till today, whenever I look at the photos of that car, my heart sinks. But I also whisper Alhamdulillah, because I’m still here, still breathing, still learning.

Nazar is real. And sometimes, it takes a painful lesson to truly believe it.
