This basement started off with a very compartmentalized layout making each space feel crammed.

The new layout gives space to:

✅️ watch TV
✅️ workout
✅️ do laundry
✅️ work from home (desk not shown)
✅️ host overnight guests

I was invited over to see this home after the renovations were completed. Life kept pushing the visit further and further away, and we recently finally made it happen.

My jaw hit the floor when I walked in 🤩!

Even though I was fully involved from the planning stages and knew how it was supposed to look, I was still blown away by how absolutely stunning it all turned out.

These clients were so lovely to work with and I'm so happy to have been able to assist in bringing their home back to life.

When I look at this home, now complete, I get such feelings of joy.

I think of the homeowner's excitement to live in a space that suited their needs. I think of all the steps it took to get there, the creative freedom, the mutual respect and appreciation we had for each other, the fun colours.
