This Norooz, my heart holds many emotions.

Joy for our beautiful traditions that have carried through centuries.
Pride in the strength and resilience of the Iranian people.
Hope that one day the people of my homeland will finally live the freedom they have dreamed of for so long.
But also deep sorrow.
Sorrow for the innocent lives lost.
For the families carrying unimaginable pain.
For a nation that has endured so much darkness.

May this new year bring peace, healing, and brighter days to Iran and to all who carry her in their hearts.
