When I thought to start a podcast six years ago, I never could have dreamed that it would lead to something this beautiful 🥹 These eight fiercely talented, smart, hilarious, kind, empathetic, supportive women all somehow came together through Deep Dives and Beta Reader Match Ups. And then travelled to Canada to spend a few days together. And I got invited to meet everyone. What they’ve built is something so breathtakingly special. As writers. As allies. As cheerleaders. As trailblazers.
And they’re all seeing their hard work paying off - agent offers and book deals!! Their success has brought me more joy than my own has. Truly. I am so honoured to have been a small part of their journey.

They all wrote me notes which I’m keeping until I really need them. But I can feel the love emanating from them, and that’s more than enough for now.

Eunice helped raise me from the moment I was born, and having her be a guest of honour at our wedding was such a privilege. I remember she arrived with three modest dresses in the tiniest suitcase and asked which one would make me proud. 🥹❤️

Everything she did and who she was made me proud. Even her potty mouth that would make a Welch sailor blush. 😂 I have a few voice recordings about her talking about “f**king” this or that. 🤣🤣🤣 My most prized possessions
