Open plan living…some floor plans lend themselves very well to this layout, especially the plan of the average Toronto Home. If you have ever watched any home renovation show, you know the first words of out many peoples mouths when they look to renovation or build is “open concept” but is this really always the best approach to planning? The excitement of discovery is always appealing to me while navigating through a new space but lifestyle is usually what dictates whether open concept works best for you, such as parents with young children (practical parenting 👀)
