invest in yourself.

Have you ever told yourself “I am young its ok!” , “I can’t relax I have so many things to do!” or “I feel fine so I must be fine.”

These are things we tell ourselves often and forget the number of years that fly by as we repeat these over and over again. Mental health illnesses and physical ailments creep up on us in the smallest of ways but effect us magnanimously.

With baby boomers having to move from a very mobile lifestyle to adapting to a sedentary work-from-home lifestyle, we see the exponential increase in mental and physical health stress.

We have the willpower to make mindful choices and make better decisions on our own and with the help of a caring healthcare practitioner. Education on daily helpful habits, stress on the body, nutrition for better mental health and movement for the mind are some of the discussions we openly talk about with our clients.

We strive to continuously educate our clients on the value of their life and how their health impacts it. We show them through small daily habit changes that they can turn their life around.

Age does not define your capabilities. Who you choose to be, defines who you are.

Curious to learn more about these mindful habits? Contact us to see how we can help and let us know what you think about this topic!

movement is medicine part 1 — movement and mood

have you ever said “I’ll just have one more donut and I’m done! I swear” ... and then you end up going for the second donut? there is something about it that’s addicting right?

🔎did you know this happens because certain chemicals are being released in our body changing the way we feel!

essentially we are seeking for something that makes us feel content. movement can help us achieve contentment mentally, physically and emotionally. regular exercise has benefits to our mood at a chemical and neural level.

swipe to see how regular exercise impacts the way we think, react and feel♥️

THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC

From rehabilitation to quality of life, I provide my clients with a realistic, approachable and fun way to regain their mobility.

During this pandemic, I have been working one-on-one with patients suffering from injuries, weight management difficulties and various chronic illnesses such as Parkinson’s.

Whether we like to admit to it or not, many people around us are going through some sort of difficulty. With the pandemic, these difficulties are amplified and can often be hard to seek help. As a health care professional working towards empowering individuals, I do whatever it takes to ensure that my clients are heard, respected and adequately cared for. Finding help during these times are challenging, but finding the right resources and health care professionals are the first steps.

Movement is medicine for the mind and body. As we work on our physical health, it inevitably positively effects our mental health too.

I would love to connect with you if you or someone you know are seeking help during these tough times♥️ DM me to chat!
