Two Hot Babes Coffee Co.

Hey folks, Nancy here. It is with mixed emotions that, after nearly 11 glorious months, I have decided to permanently close Two Hot Babes Coffee Co. Our last day of making delicious coffee will be Sunday, October 10th, and we’ll be closing our doors on October 11th.

Over the last 11 months, 2HB has become more than I ever anticipated. I originally set out to create a , a steady job for myself to financially survive the pandemic. Beyond that, I never imagined I would meet so many incredible people, learn the pulse of the the community so well, and develop what can only be described as a ‘pandemic support system’. Without a doubt, 2HB saved me. If you were ever a customer at 2HB, you saved me.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude to anyone who ever stopped by for a coffee (especially to my regulars — you know who you are!), to for giving me a home, to for being the honorary ‘third babe’ every Sunday, to my co-pilot Pez, to all the , and to everyone across the country who so generously donated to the shop through my website. A ‘thank you’ simply isn’t enough to offer you all, and I feel I’ll be paying forward my debt of gratitude for some time to come.

Although it was never my intention to keep the shop open forever, it seems impossible to say goodbye. That being said, I am so proud of Two Hot Babes Coffee Co., and what it has come to represent. My greatest hope, is that 2HB encourages people to DO THE THING. If you’ve been waiting to make a change, DO IT NOW. The pandemic has shown us that nothing is ever certain, but also that nothing is ever out of the question. Don’t think you can do it? YOU CAN. If 2HB could come to fruition under the most unlikely of circumstances, truly anything is possible.
