OPSEU/SEFPO Local 550 is ON STRIKE at the Salvation Army in Toronto, alongside more than 20 other locals and 4,000 members at community public service agencies across Ontario.

These strikes are part of the provincewide Worth Fighting For campaign, which is demanding that the Ford government – and these employers – pay for the wages workers lost under the Bill 124 wage cap, and address the chronic underfunding of community health & social services.

THIS FIGHT IS OUR FIGHT!
So, OPSEU’s Greater Toronto Area Council (GTAC) is teaming up with Local 550… and moving our monthly meeting to their picket line at the Salvation Army Broadview Village for a Solidarity Picket, Rally & Speak-Out. And we’re calling on our delegates & alternates – and OPSEU members, activists & allies – to join us!
