What a run PLTR has been on lately, the stock is up 152% over the last 3 months and 11% in the last week.

Palantir Technologies PLTR is set to release its second-quarter earnings report on Monday, Aug. 7, after the close of trading. The stock has surged this year, more than tripling in price as of the end of July.

Palantir shares gapped up 11.40% on July 31, and tacked on additional gains on August 1, after Wedbush analyst Dan Ives initiated coverage with a rating of "outperform" and a price target of $25.
