How are different jurisdictions preventing and managing work-related psychological injuries?
In a recent IWH Speaker Series presentation, Dr. Peter Smith shared study findings about approaches in use across Canada and Australia, along with lessons learned.
He also outlined other IWH research on psychosocial work factors and return-to-work challenges for those with work-related psychological conditions.

As the labour market in Canada shifts towards more precarious forms of work, a growing share of Canadians have to rely on casual, insecure and low-wage jobs to make ends meet.
How does their job quality affect their children’s mental health and development? On June 23, Dr. Faraz Vahid Shahidi will present research findings on this question.
