Hello from the La voz cooperative. A coffee producer partner delivering his coffee for the benefit of La Voz.

Coffee is always evolving and one of Granito’s more experimental producers, Erwin Chayax and his wife, Carmen Cholotio, have been playing with something called anaerobic coffee. The what you say!?

The anaerobic process requires fermenting the coffee without any oxygen and lends itself to lots of tinkering. The result is a unique mix of exotic flavours with no two anaerobic coffees ever tasting exactly the same.

To learn more about Erwin’s anaerobic process check out Granito’s blog linked in the bio.

And visit granitocoffee.com to sample a bag of this special micro-lot that we roast just a little darker to complement its sweet, bold, and chocolatey flavour. It’s the perfect treat for Valentine's day.

Big thanks to Carmen and Jonathan for the video and Cooperativa La Voz for a few of the photos.

Apparently it’s “black friday” or something and there’s lots of sales and shopping going on.
So, we’re going to roast up some fresh coffee and join in on the fun with a little sale of our own.
If your cupboards are bare, you can stock ‘em back up with 15% off delicious Granito Coffee from San Juan, San Miguel and Santa Anita, Guatemala.

Sale ends Dec 3!
