My iPhone reminded me of this photo today from two years ago, standing in this space the day I signed the lease.

I’m smiling, but if I’m being honest, I was terrified.

Terrified of taking such a huge risk. Terrified of moving into a bigger storefront. Terrified of the thought of relocating thousands of items and building a new store from scratch. Terrified because running a business already demanded everything I had, and at the same time, conversations about growing our family were becoming more real.

But I trusted my gut.

Two years later, I’m still standing here. This store was built while pregnant, fueled by countless late nights, and I never truly stopped..aside from a one-week break after I had my third child.

Today, I’m giving myself a moment to pause and feel grateful. Grateful for how far we’ve come, for every challenge that pushed me forward, and for the reminder that sometimes the scariest decisions end up being the most rewarding.
