The Gear Settings (PRNDLS)
P (Park): This is for when the car is stopped. It locks the transmission so the wheels cannot spin.

R (Reverse): Used for backing up or moving the car backward.

N (Neutral): This disconnects the engine from the wheels. The car can roll freely in this mode, but the engine won't move the tires.

D (Drive): The standard setting for normal forward driving. The car will automatically shift through gears as you speed up.

L (Low Gear): Provides more power at lower speeds. Use this for climbing steep hills or towing heavy loads.

S (Sport/Second): (Shown on the lever) This is typically used for a more responsive engine feel or to hold gears longer for better acceleration.

How to Start and Drive

Press Brake: Keep your foot firmly on the brake pedal before doing anything else.

Start Engine: Turn the key or press the "Start" button while the brake is still pressed.

Shift P → D: Move the gear lever from Park down to Drive.

Press Accelerator: Lightly press the gas pedal to engage the engine.

Release Brake Pedal: Take your foot off the brake so the car can begin to roll.

Release Handbrake: Ensure the manual emergency brake (the lever between the seats) is pushed all the way down before you drive away.

Quick Moving Tip
The small box at the bottom right simplifies the final movement: once you are ready to go, Release the Brake Pedal and then smoothly Press the Accelerator.
