🚨 WANTED: SOCIAL MEDIA WIZARD 🚨

Do you spend way too much time on Facebook and Instagram anyway? Do your friends ask why your camera roll is 97% dogs? Do you know the difference between a good post and a post that gets buried by the algorithm?

If so, New Life for Paws may have the volunteer opportunity for you! 🐾

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to help our puppies and adult dogs find their forever homes.

🐶 Your Mission (should you choose to accept it):
• Create posts that make people fall in love with our adoptable dogs
• Post regularly on Facebook and Instagram
• Respond to comments and engage with followers
• Help grow our reach so more people see our adorable, adoptable pups
• Make sure all information shared about our dogs is accurate (because telling people a 20-pound puppy is 80 pounds tends to cause problems 😆)

✨ Bonus points if you have:
• Marketing experience and know how to outsmart the Facebook algorithm
• Canva skills
• Squarespace experience (our website would love some attention)

🐾 We need someone who:
• Has a “work smarter, not harder” mentality
• Is tech-savvy
• Pays attention to details
• Works well with a team
• Isn’t easily offended

Let’s be real—rescue can be chaotic. Sometimes there are emergencies. Sometimes there are 47 messages about the same puppy. Sometimes someone accidentally posts the wrong photo. We laugh, we fix it, and we keep moving because the dogs are counting on us. ❤️

⏰ Average commitment: About 10 hours per week, depending on how many furry freeloaders are currently in our care.

🌎 Best part? You can do this from anywhere in the world! Your coworkers will be a bunch of dog-loving weirdos who celebrate adoption updates like they’re winning the Super Bowl.

❤️ Reward package includes:
• Unlimited dog photos
• New friendships
• The satisfaction of helping dogs find families
• Occasional happy tears when an adoption post works its magic

We’d like to introduce you to our newest Canadian ‘Carfie’, Ferris!

We’d also like to thank his wonderful Flight Angel 😇 and Foster Mom, Jen, for accompanying him on his journey to finding his forever home. 👏🏻💙🥰

He’s already settling in with his foster siblings (2 Labs and a Golden Retriever) and learning the ropes. In fact, little Ferris has already taken his first dip in a Canadian lake!

Stay tuned for more!

From Dierenbescherming Curacao:
And today concludes another sterilization project, in collaboration with CARF Curacao and thanks to Dr. Tjitske Roest and her 3 assistants who came from Holland to operate in our clinic at the shelter.
In part thanks to leftover medications of last week's team, for which in 3 days they were able to spay and neuter an additional 52 dogs and cats. ❤🐾💪
Yet another act very much appreciated!
