Last weekend I got to take in the incredible, awe-inspiring views of the Grand Canyon.
In the constant hustle and grind of everyday life, I've found it hard to find time for myself, for my self care and to find moments of calm. They've been too few and far between lately.
Those few hours spent overlooking the canyon, watching the sunset and admiring the beautiful landscapes and colours, truly felt like time stood still for a moment. I forgot about the stresses of work, the overwhelm, the non-stop nature of motherhood.
It gave me a different perspective in that moment. Allowed me to appreciate the stillness, the grandeur of nature, the feeling of calm that poured over me as I stood at the top of the lookout watching the sun set in the distance.
With the holidays around the corner, I know life will get busy again and those moments of calm may seem far away.
These photos and memories will be my reminder to slow down and put things into perspective ✨🏜

Motherhood captures it all. The good, the bad, the miracles and the ugly cries. The craziness, the peace, the bliss and the overwhelm.

Take a minute to take it all in. It's life-changing. And for many of us mamas, we wouldn't change it for the world. 💕💕
