This diptych portrays Toronto’s skyline — a place where nature and the built environment exist in a delicate balance. The sky transforms into vyshyvanka, symbolizing the watchful presence of our ancestors and connecting the cityscape with the enduring Ukrainian spirit carried across generations.

The canvas is split in two, reflecting the duality of our journey: past and future, homeland and new land, tradition and innovation.
