Save the Fleck! Previously known as Premiere Dance Theatre and now Terminal Theatre. At 13 years old I saw Danny Grossman and modern dance for the first time at this venue. Being a hardcore bunhead at the time, my initial experience left me wondering what the heck was that and why? Little did I know, I would become a modern dancer in my twenties and attend a multitude of performances at the Fleck. It is a beautiful space for dance and I would be very sad to see it go. If you can, please support its continued existence!
My mom enrolled me in dance classes from a young age. In my late twenties I went back to dance full time and it was the best choice that I have ever made, to reconnect deeply with my physical self. I continue to nurture that connection today with all of my movement practices, one of which includes Essentrics!
