This record was born out of the fact that somehow the stars aligned and and I were given an opportunity to uproot our lives in Vancouver, move to Toronto, and live together for the first time. In the early days of living together Matt and I pushed each other as instrumentalists and collaborators in ways we had never been able to before. Trading licks, and sharing what we were working on while this collection of songs slowly came to life. It was our little passion project between all the other tours and commitments. For me this record will always serve as a time capsule for that wonderful year that I got to live with my best friend. ♥️
