August Real Estate Market Stats
August home sales in the Greater Toronto Area, reported by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), showed a year-over-year increase.
GTA REALTORS®, reported 5,211 homes were sold in August 2025, marking a 2.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
New listings also saw a year-over-year jump, rising by 9.4% to 14,038 properties. Home sales did dip slightly month-over-month from July to August 2025, though new listings continued to climb, reinforcing the trend of a well-supplied market that benefits buyers.
