We’re surviving with a good dose of rage, and some humour wherever we can find it. (How many memes is too many to DM in one day? Asking for a friend🫣).

Watching a message of solidarity from U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders today, he reminded the audience about this famous quote from former South African President and Activist Nelson Mandela:⁠

Try not to lose a sense of hope in the face of all this political shock and awe, which is designed to divide. Right now, it might seem impossible to overcome, but not if we stick together. American friends––we’re with you, and Canadian friends––we’ve got to prepare ourselves for what’s coming too (i.e., election, possible tariffs, who knows what other buffoonery...?!).⁠
