Another last call on coffees from another inspiring producer. We’ve been sourcing coffee from Frank Torres for many years. Already inspired by how his coffees expressed, being able to visit his farm, Finca Indonesia, over the past few years struck us for being stunning and for the innovative, sustainable agriculture employed (turns out those things aren’t mutually exclusive 🌸🌱⛰️).

This year we sourced multiple nano lots of clean experimental processes. Some of the last of these are two Pink Bourbons, one processed as a washed Carbonic Maceration, and the other as a Hydro Honey. Both varietally articulate and expressive✨.

An innovator, community pillar, and incredibly hard worker, it’s hard to not get swept up in his vision for the future.

Honrado de poder representar otro año de tu trabajo 🫡

Well UK, it’s been lovely. North to South, we’ve met so many inspiring coffee folk representing a contemporary wave of specialty coffee sensibilities. So thankful for the warm hospitable welcome we’ve received, from London to Sheffield. Leaving with big warm hearts and fondness for you all.

Special thanks to the good folk and for sharing their space and hosting us to share our work and perspective

Our bigger release of Ethiopian coffees tends to coincide with the peach harvest each year here in Ontario and the pairing is never lost on us. We’re full swing into our Ethiopian releases with four beautiful coffees on our menu and many more to come over the next few months. At the moment, we are featuring coffee from all three of the major growing regions we work with in Ethiopia: Jimma, Guji, and Sidama, and they are absolutely singing.

Tagel Alemayehu, Washed Kurue & Dega from Hembela, Guji boasts candied sweetness with notes of lychee, lemongrass, and hibiscus.

Arbegona Rumudamo, Natural 74158 from Arbegona, Sidama is jammy and berry-forward with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and melon.

Arbegona Rumudamo, Washed 74158 from Arbegona, Sidama is as elegant and articulate as always, with notes of white peach, citrus, and white flower.

On espresso, Gure Kesso, washed Serto from Gera, Jimma is refreshing and complex with notes of plum, blackberry, and lime leaf.
