We are saddened to report that the Driftwood community has been affected by a fire, resulting in the destruction of a home belonging to a mother and her four children, aged 14, 20, 16, and 11. The family members impacted are my granddaughter and her mother and siblings. I am taking the initiative to organize support and invite interested parties to contact me. Breakaway Relief Foundation continues to be on the front line assisting underserved community members. 2020 has shown us just how many people still need help and resources in order to continue to thrive. Since 2003 we have never turned anyone away and this year we continue to ask our donors to make a sacrifice and help us with donations, to make the seasons great for our community families. Many people have lost jobs yet still need to support their families so the demand is extremely high.
