Humanities How did Humanities@Humber start?

Humanities Professor Nathan Radke launched the first Humanities instructional video on YouTube in November 2009. Entitled “Kuhn's Paradigm Shift: A Visual Metaphor for Paradigm Shift Theory,” Nathan developed this video to illustrate Kuhn’s theory of scientific revolutions. Although initially created to supplement his own Humanities classes, this video was quickly adopted by many of Nathan’s Humanities colleagues in their lessons on “Science and the Natural World.”

This experience inspired a number of other Humanities Professors to develop additional instructional videos. The innovative videos created by the “Founding Creative Team”-- consisting of Daryl Culp, Jenn Gresham, Jon Zeyl, and Nathan Radke -- served to spearhead this “Humanities@Humber” page.
