Lost an earring? Don't panic!

The first thing we recommend is going back to the jeweller you originally purchased them from. They may be able to sell you a replacement earring or, in some cases, a new pair. Surprisingly, this is often more affordable than having a single earring custom made because creating one piece from scratch involves more labour.

If that's not an option and they're a pair you truly love, we'd be happy to help.

In this case, our client had lost one of her garnet earrings. Rather than trying to recreate just one, we custom made a brand new matching pair. We recommend this approach because every jeweller has their own way of making and finishing jewellery, and even small differences can be noticeable when the earrings are worn together. Creating a new pair ensures they're a perfect match.

Even better, our client was able to reuse the gold, saving on material costs.
