Priyum is a founding member of Coven Code, India’s first all-female women’s DJ collective that aspires to build a creative culture around sound in a safe and inclusive environment. She learnt to DJ with the help of the women in the collective and friendly clubs in the city who let her mess around with the console (which she continues to do). As a part of the collective Priyum continues to advocate for safety and inclusivity in the music/night-life community, which involves producing events and gigs that incorporate safety toolkits and other mechanisms.

With a distinct style sets her apart, DJ MIYU has performed as a main act at numerous events, both domestically and internationally, sharing stages with top artists like LONDON ELEKTRICITY and GOLDIE. With four mix CDs released, her own original art design Slipmats (Dr. Suzuki), and a major Japanese visual for the headphone brand AIAIAI TMA-2, DJ MIYU’s influence is vast.
