This past week, we hosted our first ever Meetup, . I'm thrilled to say we had almost 50 people come out, and many stayed late trying out new things and working together at SteadfastBeta's very first event.

I think this is the start of something big, and I'm excited to see what the next meet up will look like (sign up here! meetup.com/usertestingto).

However, before we can spend too much time thinking about the future of (or SteadfastBeta for that matter), there are a number of amazing people we need to thank for making this event as great as it was.

1. Design Cofounders - You were not only a venue sponsor, but you were a true partner in this effort as well. Mustefa you drove this initiative forward as much as we did, and Idil your support was invaluable. Thank you for fostering a community and space that’s dedicated to learning and personal development for all

2. Hira Javed - You had the particularly difficult challenge of being our first speaker ever. Wow, did you ever crush it. Speaking to people afterwards everywhere said they learned a ton and you made user testing seem accessible and fun.

3. Maggie Bergeron - Unreal demo. You fielded questions from all over the place with poise. As our first demo ever we could not have asked for more from you and healthSwapp (check it out!).

4. Matt and Belinda - Have to give a quick shout out to Matt and Belinda and theSheetTO. Not only did they come through to share Toronto’s top tech news at our event, but they also gave me and everyone else building something really helpful feedback. Can’t wait to have the next edition at our next UserTestingTO Meetup.

5. Eve Aphayboun and White Elephant Agency - You gave us such beautifully design promotional material and logos for , and it only took you a few hours. You're a genius.

6. Nader (our operations intern!) - You were totally on the ball all evening, hustling to make sure that everything was ready to rock. We're happy we have you on our team, and anybody that wants to hire you when you graduate can forget about it because we're keeping you.
