it is 07 07 2026! And we have officially new Ghosts in the Shell by One of my favorite animation studios science Saru who have made Dan Dan Dan and the Scott Pilgrim Anime!

Episode 1 dropped today have you seen it? But that spoilers what did you think?

Sci-Fi is one of my all-time favorite genres to photograph and I'm currently working on some plans for hopefully this year like everything starts and stutters but hopefully on announcements before too long!

Yeticon BTS 2026!

I was tasked with capturing Behind the Scenes of Yeticon 2026 and it was a joy and a challenge at the same time. We learned while trying to craft marketing material for this year we didn't really have a lot of really good materials that told the story of the convention. A lot of cosplay shoots but not a lot that told the story.

Joy and Challenge No.1
Yeticon had just too many awesome events! The Bunny Hill party, Hearthrobs, Marvel's Swimsuiit showcase, Mountian Top Gala, Crafting panels, night markets and photo walks it was just back to back to back. I usually travel with 3 layers of backups including backup memory, a ton of back up batteries and by the last day i was on my back up's backup while trying to charge my main camera and flash haha!

Challenge No.2
and this is on me but i really wanted to capture both video and photography at the same time because we really needed both but you can't do both at the "same time" so one always cuts into the other. There's no way around this other than to get more people on the ground. might look into that in the future. But the good news is I have just a ton of video behind the scenes to put together in the future!

Challenge No 3
IG onlly lets you post 20 photos at a time! do you have any idea how hard it was to only choose 20 photos i could do 20 photos for each event, Panel, party and photoshoot!

Because of that I'm going to try out making blog posts on my own website to tell larger stories

With all the talk for cyberpunk and AX I'mma continue down this train rehashing the past when Stella Chuu gathered a bunch of cosplayers as kind of a free convention networking photo shoot. I love the idea so much I tried to do a smaller variant of that last year before Fan Expo. I'm also working behind the scenes to hopefully craft some future cyberpunk chaos but that's still a work in progress so stay tuned for that.
