This was my breakfast today. It will be my breakfast for the next several days. Oatmeal, the best tasting protein on the market, couple strawberries and a tablespoon of peanut butter.
I was eating this a few years ago everyday while I prepped to compete in a regional physique show. This breakfast was my favorite meal back then.
Such a great balanced meal of carbs, protein and fat. Putting on muscle or leaning out this is the way to go. I vary the proportions as needed. Can substitute any one of these ingredients with something else, but for a quick easy and delicious meal I add hot water and I’m good to go.

It’s about this time of the year where a lot of people hang up the swimsuit, put away the sunscreen and begin to say farewell to the progress they made not long ago in preparation for the summer.
Don’t bid farewell to the gains completely. Don’t welcome back all the weight you worked so hard to lose. If you want to scale back, scale back, but honour the work you’ve done this season and carry it forward through the fall. I guarantee the “summer 2022 you” will thank you for it!
