🚨 It’s official: the Oasis documentary is heading to cinemas and Disney+

Disney has confirmed the release window for the upcoming film directed by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders), focused on the legendary Oasis reunion and the “Live ’25” tour.

But this is not just a concert film.

According to reports, the project is being shaped as a cinema-first, story-driven documentary, with Steven Knight calling it a “phenomenal” and “unapologetically uplifting” experience.

Early edits reportedly reached feature-length (up to around four hours at one stage) before being refined into a theatrical cut designed for IMAX and global cinema release.

The film promises:

🎤 rehearsal and studio footage
👀 unseen moments from the reunion process
📺 and the first joint Gallagher interview in over 20 years

Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the documentary follows the band during the build-up to the massive “Live ’25” tour — one of the most anticipated rock reunions in decades.
