Reunited, and it feels so good 🎵🎶🎼🤗

We haven't seen some of these women for a long time, and it was so beautiful to come together celebrating in this setting 's 50th anniversary on the new Flavours Demo stage.

On Sunday's scheduled event, we shared something simple but deeply meaningful- the cookies that carry our stories. Each of our past Newcomer Kitchen students has a favourite cookie that connects them to home, to family, and to the journey that brought them to Canada.

These are not just recipes- they’re memories, courage, and community, baked into each woman’s story. We were there to celebrate their voices, their cultures, and the ways food helps us belong. Our storytellers were amazing, as they shared their cookie, their journey, and the part Newcomer Kitchen has played in their new beginnings.

Newcomer Kitchen is hosting a Kitchen Party and also launching THE GREAT CANADIAN COOKIE EXCHANGE which both promotes the spirit, generosity, variety and flavours of our Canadian communities 🎊🇨🇦🍢🍪🥂
