A legal scholar and civil rights advocate, Crenshaw is the brilliant mind who coined the term intersectionality, a concept that revolutionized the way we understand oppression.

We are the University of Toronto chapter of the UN Women agency, run by students at the University of Toronto St. George Campus. We advocate and promote the objectives and mission of the UN Women agency. Our structure adheres to the rules and body of the UN Women directorate.
