‼️FINAL DAY‼️ We have been absolutely blown away by the response to the Liquidation Sale ❤️ We still have some art, materials, books, matboards and frames, but today will be the final day of the sale. So much has already found new homes, and we are so happy for that - thank you so much! We will miss this amazing community ❤️❤️❤️

We’re getting so close!! The time has been set and we’re getting everything ready for you 🤩 And when we say everything we mean everything - we’ll have framing supplies, art materials, furniture, storage units, show supplies - so much there’s too much to list!

You know we love a painted bevel around here - and the only thing we love more? Multicoloured ones!! ✨😍✨ This Star Wars poster had so much gorgeous colour in it, and for the overall look we really wanted the framing to fade away. However, when we looked at everything laid out at consult, it was missing that last little ✨pop✨ And a painted bevel was exactly the answer! Here we could choose where to pull colours out of the piece, where to be bright and where to reel it back - this way we can draw your eye to specific areas around the piece, and keep that composition flowing beautifully 🥰 And of course we wanted to make sure no paint came in direct contact with the glass or the art, so there’s a spacer mat between the painted mat and the poster itself, and then another thin spacer in between the glass and the top mat 😍

Simple and quiet and clean are so often the way to go - this beautiful figurative piece balanced soft and vibrant so well we knew it’s framing needed to be the background player in every sense. Using a natural wood frame with texture and a soft cream mat along with a platform mount puts this piece center stage 💕🥰💕

Two project by the same artist, for the same client, just one year apart! 😍

Around this time last year, a gorgeous pastel horse by was brought into the shop - we framed it in accordance with best practices for pastel pieces (no fixative in sight 😉) We used preservation mounting methods, and matted the piece using 100% cotton rag matboard. A spacer is added between the mat and the art, and this catches any spare dust that may fall from the piece, preventing discolouration of the mat and debris on the glass 🥰 We loved pairing the horse with a cream mat and soft blue moulding from - and then when our client brought in this cow a few weeks ago it was perfect to pair them up! We used the same methods and materials, but just tweaked the colours - pairing the cow with a light grey 100% cotton rag mat, and the dark grey version of the same Fotiou moulding 🤩 This way the pieces compliment each other without being identical 💕
