This year we celebrate over two decades of journeying alongside countless students, fostering faith, building community, and helping in the transformation of people's life on campus. We've shared countless moments of joy, faith, and support—creating connections that last a lifetime.

To every student, volunteer, and partner who's been part of this incredible journey—thank you! Your friendship, dedication, and support have made a lasting impact. As we look to the future, we’re excited to continue our mission of creating spaces of communal learning that create vibrant and impactful expressions of God's work in our campus and our city.

Sharing one’s faith is a core practice among many religions.Yet, today, a number of factors are curbing many young people’s enthusiasm for faith-sharing, including the decline of religion in North America, an understanding of the harmful effects of colonialism, a spreading apathy toward spiritual matters and a growing cultural suspicion of people of faith.

Proselytizing can mean different things to different people, but isn’t any attempt to persuade someone of anything proselytizing anyway? How do we reconcile some people’s idea that it is their duty to convert others to their religion while recognizing the harmful effects this practice has created throughout history?

NEW WINTER SERIES:
We’ve all heard that God is in details. In the details of ideas and concepts we encounter every day. But what does this mean for our daily lives? Making Room is a new space created for engaging with these ideas and exploring how they have an effect in society and our personal lives. Each week we will choose one idea/topic related to faith, religion, popular culture, and society, and engage it in a communal circle of learning. This is a space where students can explore, question, and learn from one another as we attempt to make room for new ideas and for one another.
