Take courage, wait on the Lord and trust Him.

God is bigger than your problems.

Yesterday, me and my son are sitting together while we are watching a movie.

I feel like it's just been a while, I am present physically but the other part of me is out of nowhere. Been so preoccupied with a lot of things. 😭

He noticed that I sighed so heavily, he felt that I was not really okay.

Then out of the line, I asked him, Gabe what is love for you at the moment?

He answered: Love is YOU.
Me: Why did you say that?
Him: Coz you do everything for me. Even most of the time I see you not okay and crying.
Me: Do you love Mommy?
Him: Of course I do!
Me: Even if life is tough? Even if I can't give you the dream you ever wanted?
(He dreamt to have a family)
Him: Mom, we are in this together.
Me: That's right. Iloveyou Gabe!

Sometimes we don't notice that love exists in every aspect of our life. That even in my own struggles my son considered and took it with love from his very own MommyJenn.

Sometimes, I forget that God loves us first, that He sacrificed His begotten son to die for us and yet we forget that and we put so much pressure in ourselves.

Romans 5:8 NIV
[8] But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

So don't be too hard on yourself.

At times that you are so drained and you feel like you need to love first yourself why not seek God first? That you are not okay, go back to God's hands and embrace, seek Him first and all else will be okay.

Matthew 6:33-34 NIV
[33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

[34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

With God, there is assurance. Yesterday, I got reminded through my son that everything will be okay.
